It is very kind of you to say that my attempts to photograph social dances succeed. So often it remains a hit and miss affair. I have been to social dances that seemed to offer some opportunities, then just as I am getting my camera out, someone dims the lights to a point that makes me lose interest.
But the real difficulty with getting results is that I LOVE TO DANCE…
Dance and photography… vernacular arts, demotic arts… anyone can do them, anyone is free to join in… still awfully tough to do well. Thanks for this excellent blog.
