Wow, what a great trip! I can’t believe I packed in so much in so few days. It was my first time in Seattle and I absolutely loved it. On top of some serious tourism (and lots of working), I managed to squeeze in a wonderful evening with old friends (and their beautiful, sweet baby), salsa at the Century Ballroom, and a modern dance class at the Velocity dance center.
Here are a couple of highlights, pictorially. Click on the pictures for larger versions.
Beautiful produce in Pike Place Market. I love Pike Place. A lot.
View from the ferry to Bainbridge Island
Sunday evening carnage at Nordstrom Rack (sadly, I left empty-handed)
Sabor Americano exhibit at the Experience Music Project. Incredible exhibit, amazing museum, spectacular architecture
The Seattle Public Library is a green, high tech building. While I was there, it just so happened that they were about to start a lecture to preview the ballet’s upcoming season!

Oh, Maria, what wonderful photos! They look so professional, and make Seattle look so achingly beautiful. You must have had some “sunspots!” (also known as rainbreaks!)
Gorgeous! I am so happy you had a great time, and I hope you hurry back!

Thank you! We had incredible weather there. Many people had warned me that late October in Seattle is rainy, but I don’t know what they were talking about. We had ONE hour of rain the whole time I was there, and perhaps two mornings of fog.
I hope to hurry back very soon, and this time not for work so I can see even more.

I’m glad you had a good time! The weather is still good here so all of us Seattle-ites are making the most of it while we still can!

I will do that Elizabeth, and I appreciate the offer!
Fluvial, might I have seen you on Saturday night at the Century Ballroom? What a great venue. I didn’t end up making it out to HaLo on Monday.
